CMB09 Stabilizer Tail Fin

Stabiliser tail fin for KISTERS OSSB1 current meters. Enhances directional stability and reduces unwanted rotation in flowing water, helping to maintain accurate and repeatable velocity measurements during discharge gauging operations. Designed for use with OSS-B1 current meters mounted on KISTERS HB1 hanger bars and CWxxx Columbus gauging weight assemblies, where it supports stable alignment of the measurement system under varying flow conditions. Also compatible with nose-mounted ground-feeler weight configurations. Suitable for a wide range of gauging applications requiring reliable meter positioning and measurement performance. Particularly beneficial in deeper water, at higher flow velocities, and in other conditions where additional directional stability is required.

Available in two lengths to accommodate different gauging configurations and operating conditions. Longer stabiliser fins can provide increased directional stability in demanding applications, while shorter versions offer a more compact installation where operating conditions permit.
